Testimonials: What Our Clients Are Saying

"Prior to working with Heather my eating schedule was chaotic. Heather taught me how to meal plan in a way that worked with my busy work schedule and allowed me to eat the foods I enjoy. She also helped me shift from an all or nothing approach to nutrition to something more realistic. After working with her I began to trust myself around food again and started listening to what my body needed."
"Heather was very helpful and knowledgeable, before I went and got help from her I would binge eat. She helped me create a healthy relationship with food. I could not be more thankful to her for all her help."

I have been in active recovery for almost a year now. I have jumped from many different treatment teams as I worked my way to a better relationship with food. When I got to outpatient, I looked through many dietitian’s websites before I found Heather. I am so happy that she was who I went with, as her charismatic personality and session style makes me feel supported and met where I am in my journey. She is open and honest with me when there are things I need to work on in a way that does not make me feel as though I did something wrong. I have enjoyed the time I have gotten to work with Heather, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to heal their relationship with food.”

“Miss Heather is a great choice if you are looking for a great provider who will listen to all of your needs and help you better your relationship with food. I was having issues with food so bad that I limited my food due to my contamination issues due to my OCD but miss Heather helped me through and with her help I have been able to start eating food normally again. Also if you are a person in the LGBTQIA+ community, she is very respectful to names and pronouns. I strongly recommend her. She changed my life and I am so glad I found her services!”

“I reached out to Heather after struggling with disordered eating for over 40 years. I had been learning about and practicing Intuitive Eating on my own for several months. Although I had made some progress, I thought Heather might be able to provide me with additional support. And she has! Heather’s wealth of knowledge and kind and caring personality allow her to provide sessions that feel structured yet flexible. The sessions are collaborative and educational. She met me where I was and has supported me on my journey. I am grateful for her work.”

The frequency and duration of our sessions will depend on the severity, complexity, and level of support you need. This will be determined during our initial session. However, nutrition therapy is not a one and done type of deal. Depending on your case we may work together for 3, 6, or 12+ months.

As a registered dietitian providing nutrition therapy we will focus on food, weight, body image, and physical activity. We will also explore mindsets that are keeping you from living a healthful, balanced life. During nutrition therapy we will seek alternatives to the diet thought patterns and behaviors that are not serving you. Throughout this whole process you will also begin to develop awareness around your personal needs and learn how to respond to your internal cues regarding food.

Psychotherapy with your therapist will focus more on the underlying issues fueling the eating problems, dealing with past and present relationships, feelings, trauma history, any other co-occurring disorders, etc.

At this time all services will be held virtually through a secure HIPAA compliant video platform.

I currently only accept credit/debit card payments through Square. I also accept health savings accounts/flexible spending accounts. Payments will be made for packages on a monthly basis. Once an appointment is made you will be sent an invoice for the session. Please pay this invoice prior to the session or late fees may apply. Also note that I do not provide refunds for services or packages unless you request a cancellation of your package 48 hours prior to your session. This information is laid out in detail in your client portal account and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

I do work virtually with  some individuals with eating disorders such as anorexia, a-typical anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and OSFED.  It is important that you have an outpatient ED team. With our work together being virtual it is important you check in with other providers to have labs taken, any meds adjusted, your weight checked, etc. as determined appropriate for your recovery. Prior to us working together I would be happy to help you establish a treatment team including a therapist, physician, and psychiatrist if you do not already have one.

Depending on the level of support you need and the stage of recovery you are in, we may need to meet for check ins twice a week, weekly, or bi-weekly. I also offer virtual meal support sessions for an additional cost.

Please email me at for more information on this.
