Danielle Kauffman, MS, RDN
Hello! My name is Danielle Kauffman, I am a Registered Dietitian who’s passionate about helping people make peace with food and their bodies in order to make space for the joys life has to offer beyond food and body preoccupation. I strongly believe that ALL foods are meant to be enjoyed, even though we have been conditioned to feel guilty enjoying it. I believe we are all different, so health looks different on everybody. And, I believe that no one’s life experiences are the same, so no one’s recovery will be the same.
Through a weight-inclusive lens and an intuitive eating approach, I am dedicated to supporting you in healing from chronic dieting, disordered eating and eating disorder recovery. I am eager to hear your unique story and experience and will provide you with the space and encouragement to show up just as you are.
Danielle's Background & Professional Experience
I earned my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at SUNY Oneonta and completed my dietetic internship there as well. During my dietetic internship, I was able to complete 7 different rotations where I worked with people of all ages and health conditions. I continue to do my own research on eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, and medical nutrition therapy.
Get to Know Danielle
When I’m not working you can find me exploring new hiking trails, playing co-ed volleyball, cuddling my two cats, or enjoying a yummy iced coffee (remember: life’s too short to drink bad coffee).
