What's Included in the Food & Body Peace Program?

  • 60 minute Introductory Session - During our initial 60-minute session, I’ll conduct a full assessment to understand your wants and needs. At this time we will explore your background, history with dieting, and health habits. We will also look at your current eating patterns, relationship with food, and body image. Together we’ll set attainable goals and build a practical plan to help you reach these goals.
  • Weekly or Bi-weekly Coaching Sessions - Depending on the amount of support you need we will check in weekly or bi-weekly to provide education, support, and troubleshoot anything that may come up for you during your journey.
  • Educational Handouts, Worksheets, and Resources - As needed during the length of the program that reflect our work together during our sessions.
  • Unlimited Email Support - In order to trouble shoot in between sessions or ask questions to your FBP program coach, me, a registered dietitian and expert in the health and nutrition field.

How to Get Started

2. Discovery Call

A quick 15 minute call to see if we make a great fit to work together.

3. Onboarding

After acceptance to the FBP program you will be sent a welcome email and invitation to set up a client profile. Here you will complete any required forms prior to our introductory session.

This program requires a minimum of a 3 month commitment. With that being said healing your relationship with food and your body takes time. Many clients tend to need support for 6+ months to see long lasting changes and results. 

  • You are fed up with dieting and obsessing over food.
  • You are ready to try a different approach to eating that focuses on nourishment instead of restriction.
  • You want to be able to eat “normally” without stressing, binging, or restricting.
  • You’re ready to focus on behavioral changes instead of weight loss that honor and respect your body. 
  • You want to understand why you sometimes emotionally eat, the purpose it plays in your life, and how you can add other coping mechanisms to your tool box. 
  • You want to eat foods that your enjoy, taste good, and are satisfying.
  • You’re ready to feel more comfortable in your body, treat it with kindness, and find ways to move that you enjoy.

The FBP program is not a weight loss program. With that being said, during this program you may experience weight fluctuations as you learn to listen to your body’s hunger cues and your body heads towards its predetermined set point weight. What may determine if you lose, gain, or maintain weight depends on the level of restriction, amount of dieting, weight cycling, and binging that has occurred.

This program is not for those who want to count macros or calories, expect a diet program, want to be given a specific meal plan (however we will work on menu/meal planning together), want to focus on intentional weight loss or other have aesthetic goals in mind. This program is also not appropriate for those with an active eating disorder or early in recovery. Please refer to the tab below for information on eating disorder services. 

The FBP program is not for individuals with an active eating disorder. It may be appropriate for those further along in recovery. I do work with some individuals with eating disorders such as anorexia, a-typical anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and OSFED.  It is important that you have an outpatient ED team. With our work together being virtual it is important you check in with other providers to have labs taken, any meds adjusted, your weight checked, etc. as determined appropriate for your recovery. Prior to us working together I would be happy to help you establish a treatment team including a therapist, physician, and psychiatrist if you do not already have one.

Depending on the level of support you need and the stage of recovery you are in, we may need to meet for check ins twice a week, weekly, or bi-weekly. I also offer virtual meal support sessions for an additional cost.

Since the FBP program is individualized towards your goals and needs, fees will depend on the level of support you need. The VIP weekly program and bi-weekly program will be charged on a monthly basis. However, I work with clients that need to break down monthly packages into smaller payments as well. Please let me know if this is something that would be more suitable to you. 

I am an out of network provider and do not accept insurance at this time. I can provide you with a super bill for you to submit to your insurance company. However, this does not guarantee reimbursement. 

I currently only accept credit/debit card payments through Square. I also accept health savings accounts/flexible spending accounts. Payments will be made for packages on a monthly basis, however in some circumstances we can break them down into weekly or bi-weekly payments. Note additional fees may apply for this payment method. After acceptance into the FBP program, you will be sent an invoice from Square to your desired email address for the first month of services. This invoice will be due 3 days after the day it is sent. Depending on your start date, you will receive your next recurring invoice one week prior to the due date of your next monthly payment. You will have 7 days to pay the invoice. For easier payment options you can also set up automatic payments as well to insure you pay your balance on time. If you prefer you can also pay manually each month. Please note that I do not provide refunds for services or packages unless you request a cancellation of your package 30 days prior to your next month start date or 48 hours prior to your first session. This information is laid out in detail in your client portal account and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
